What we build
for Texas.
Six service lines, one standard: buildings delivered on time, on budget, and ready to operate the day we hand them over.
Warehouses built to move freight.
From cross-docks and last-mile delivery centers to million-square-foot regional distribution facilities, KGC builds the backbone of the Texas supply chain. Our crews have raised warehouses from I-10 to I-45, delivering on aggressive schedules without compromising on envelope quality or slab tolerances.
We self-perform concrete, tilt-up panels, and key structural scopes — which means when the schedule is tight and the stakes are high, we're not waiting on anyone.
- 50,000 to 1,000,000+ sq ft distribution facilities
- Cross-docks and last-mile delivery hubs
- FM Global and insurer-compliant construction
- High-bay racking-ready slab design and finish
- Dock levelers, truck courts, and trailer yards
- ESFR sprinkler coordination and early suppression

Facilities built to operate.
Manufacturing plants, cold storage, chemical process buildings, and heavy industrial structures demand more than steel and concrete — they demand coordination between structure, MEP, and process equipment. KGC's project teams have delivered industrial facilities across the Gulf Coast's toughest environments.
We work closely with owner's engineers and process designers from pre-construction forward, so the building supports the equipment — not the other way around.
- Manufacturing and process buildings
- Cold storage and temperature-controlled envelopes
- Heavy foundations for press lines and equipment pads
- Crane structures and high-capacity floor slabs
- Fuel, chemical, and hazardous materials compliance
- Phased occupancy and tenant-active construction
Self-performed tilt-up advantage.
Tilt-up concrete construction is faster, stronger, and more cost-effective than conventional framing for most industrial and large commercial projects — but only when it's done right. KGC is a member of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association and self-performs panel casting, bracing, and erection in-house.
Our concrete division gives owners a single point of accountability for the most critical path of the job — and the schedule gains show up in every handover.
- Panels up to 70 feet tall, architectural or utility finish
- Form liners, reveals, and integral color
- Insulated sandwich panels for cold-storage envelopes
- Embedded hardware, lift inserts, and bracing design
- On-site casting beds and crane coordination
- Patching, finish, and paint ready for sign-off

Commercial shells, done right.
Retail centers, office buildings, mixed-use developments, and ground-up commercial shells — KGC delivers commercial projects with the same rigor we bring to industrial work. The tolerances are tighter, the finishes more visible, and the owner often lives with every square foot.
Our team coordinates with architects, tenant coordinators, and brokers to deliver buildings that lease and operate from day one.
- Retail centers and big-box shells
- Multi-tenant office buildings up to five stories
- Restaurant and hospitality ground-up
- Mixed-use and podium construction coordination
- Landlord work letters and tenant coordination
- Site work, civil, and landscape under one contract
One team, one contract.
Design-build delivery collapses the gap between drawings and construction. With KGC as a single point of accountability for design and construction, owners get faster decisions, earlier price certainty, and fewer change orders. We lead architects, engineers, and trade partners as one integrated team from day one.
The result is a building that was priced as it was designed — and built as it was priced.
- Single-source contract from concept through occupancy
- Integrated architect and engineering partners
- Real-time budget and schedule alignment
- Early long-lead procurement and commitment
- Owner-transparent decision logs
- Faster overall delivery than design-bid-build

Decisions made early.
The cheapest change is the one made before drawings are final. KGC's pre-construction team engages during schematic design — or even site selection — to pressure-test the budget, schedule, and constructability of your project before the first shovel goes in the ground.
Owners who engage us early get buildings that price well, build well, and operate well. It's the single highest-leverage phase in any capital project.
- Conceptual budgeting and cost models
- Site due diligence and utility review
- Constructability reviews at SD, DD, and CD phases
- Value engineering without compromising intent
- Long-lead and supply chain strategy
- Permit and entitlement coordination
Four phases, one standard.
